Delay — The Road Has Been Difficult, but We Keep Moving 🚣
about 1 month ago

Hello dear Aeternum backers,
This is your D.E.C. speaking.
I want to start this update with some honesty about the current situation of the project. As you know, our previous estimated delivery window was September 2026. Unfortunately, it has become clear that we will not be able to meet that deadline.
At this point, our new target is December 2026, although depending on how the coming months develop, completion could potentially move into the first months of 2027.
I know this is another significant delay, and I sincerely apologize. I also want to explain why.
Over the past year, Dec-Art company has gone through a particularly difficult period. Before I became the new administrator of the company in July, I had to deal with several internal issues and difficult circumstances that created uncertainty around the stability of the company and, inevitably, took a significant amount of time and creative energy away from Aeternum.
After taking over the management, I also became aware of several financial and administrative matters that required my immediate attention. I am now working to review and resolve these issues and to bring Dec-Art back to a stable and sustainable situation.
At the same time, the resources currently available to manage both Dec-Art and Aeternum have become much more limited, making this period particularly demanding.
Despite all of this, Aeternum has never stopped.
We are working every single day to complete the deck, while also dealing with these responsibilities behind the scenes. I know that after several changes to the estimated delivery date, simply asking for your patience is not enough.
I cannot promise that the road ahead will be completely smooth, but I can promise that we will keep working hard and keep you informed every month.
Most importantly, I want to deliver a deck that truly deserves the incredible trust and support you have given me. I would rather take the necessary time than rush the artwork and compromise the quality of the final product.
And rather than simply telling you that I'm still working, I'd rather show you.
Here are some of the latest cards I've completed, followed by previews of the works currently in progress:
"The world" pencil sketch:
"The Fool" pencil sketch:
The road has been more difficult than I expected, but Aeternum is still moving forward — one card at a time.
Thank you for your patience, trust and continued support.

Hello dear Aeternum backers,
Your D.E.C. here! I hope you're all doing well.
Here in Italy we're melting under an endless heat wave... I'm slowly turning into melted cheese 🫠. But despite the heat, I'm still working every single day to bring this deck to life and, eventually, into your hands!
Here are the latest completed cards:
The Poet (Extra Card)
The Chariot
The Sun
I'm currently working on the coloring of The Devil. Here's the final pencil drawing before the digital painting process begins:
And finally, here's the first sketch of the next card I'll be working on:
The Star (sketch)
Unfortunately, production has slowed down a little due to some internal changes related to the upcoming transition in our company's management.
I'm doing everything I can to meet our current estimated delivery window of September 2026, but I'd also like to be completely transparent with you: if further delays become necessary, I'll let you know as soon as possible.
As always, I warmly invite you to join our private Facebook community, where I regularly share my progress and where you can interact directly with me and the team.
See you there! 😉
Thank you all for your patience and continued support.

Hello dear Aeternum backers, it's Davide speaking :)
First of all, I’d like to apologize for the lack of updates here on Kickstarter lately. I’ve been actively sharing progress inside our private Facebook group, so this is also a great chance to invite you to join us there if you haven’t yet — it’s the best place to follow my work more closely and interact directly with me and the team.
That said, I’ll do my best to be more consistent with updates here in the coming months.
There are no major changes compared to the last update — I’m working hard every single day to create a deck that truly lives up to your expectations and your incredible support.
Below you’ll find previews of some of the latest cards:
Production Timeline:
We confirm the current estimated delivery window: August / September 2026.
That said, the global situation is unfortunately not helping — especially shipping costs (particularly to the US) have increased significantly. We’re closely monitoring this and hope things will improve in the coming months.
Wishing you all a wonderful start to spring 🌿
Thank you, as always, for your patience and support.
